{Sponsor Spotlight: Shades of Gray}

I’m so excited to introduce you all to Amira from the blog Shades of Gray! Amira originally started her blog as a travel blog to document a 3 week trip through Europe with her boyfriend (they visited Belgium, Paris, Germany and Amsterdam!). Her boyfriend actually proposed on Christmas in Belgium (how romantic!), so the blog ended up morphing into a wedding planning blog. Now, almost a year and a half after the wedding, she uses her cute blog as a place to share the joys (and challenges) of being a newlywed who works full-time and goes to grad school. She wrote an awesome post about 10 thingsshe learned in the first year of marriage that I am pretty obsessed with! Go check her out – you’ll be so happy you did 🙂

{Sponsor Spotlight: Jenzie}

Happy Monday, lovelies! Hope you had a fabulous weekend. We had a ton of fun walking around Amsterdam on the canals, date-nighting at a romantic Italian restaurant, brunching with friends and witnessing history at the Keizers Race (the last time it happened was 15 years ago!). Needless to say, the weekend flew and I’m feeling exhausted after staying up late for a Skype marathon last night. I’ll be back tomorrow with my first installment of wintery Amsterdam photos!

Today, I’d like to introduce you to the lovely Jen from the blog Jenzie. I actually had the pleasure of meeting her a few months ago when I organized a mini expat blogger meetup. Her and her husband had just moved to Amsterdam on a whim – they own their own business and figured they could work from anywhere, so why not Europe! Awesome, right? They spent the last three months traveling around with their dog Rockee going to beautiful places like Paris and Sicily. Head on over to her blog to read more about their eco-conscious travel adventures.

Sponsor Spotlight: The Egg

Happy Friday! This week flashed before my eyes. It’s my second week in a row working out three times a week. And not just any workout, but the tough one hour classes at our gym at work! I am feeling so great. Seriously, the endorphins are flowing. Not even this awful rainy weather can get me down! This weekend my cousin is in town and we are super excited to show her around the city (and I’m excited to have a shopping buddy!). Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! If you’re looking for a new blog to get lost in, check out one of my wonderful sponsors – The Egg!

Meagan started The Egg, a local Jackson Hole blog, as a creative outlet to give her friends and family a glimpse of the Mountain Lifestyle.  She writes about her adventures and the day-to-day life in the Tetons.  She recently teamed up with “Dishing Jackson Hole” as a blogging contributor, where she writes about the best of her little mountain town’s grub and cocktails! When’s she’s not off playing in the mountains she is traveling the world – she tries to visit a new country every year – and so far she’s stayed true to that goal. I hope you all enjoy Meagan’s blog as much as I do! Enjoy 🙂

Sponsor Spotlight: Lemons, Avocados & The Bay

I planned on posting about our NYE in Amsterdam today, but for one, I’ve been in a bit of a funk these last few days, and for two, I have another amazing sponsor for you guys to meet, so I thought the fireworks could wait until Wednesday.
Meet Tammy, from the blog Lemons, Avocados & The Bay. She is an adorable 20-something living a dream life in gorgeous San Diego, California. Her and her boyfriend bought a home and renovated it last year, love to travel and enjoy life’s simple pleasures (like indulging in delicious brunches and spending a cozy Saturday night curled up on the couch watching movies). Head over to her blog and follow along on her adventures – you won’t regret it!

Sponsor Spotlight: Marshalls Abroad

I’ve got another sponsor I’d like to introduce to you! I know you’re going to love her because if you like reading about our life abroad in Amsterdam, you’re going to LOVE reading about Amanda and her husband, Cam’s, life abroad in the most beautiful place, complete with crystal clear water and warm, breezy days…the subtropical island of Okinawa, Japan! She and her husband have the most adorable love story and Marshalls Abroad is all about what they’re up to as they live on the other side of the world from their families. They travel a ton, have an insanely gorgeous home, she takes amazing photos, and you’ll feel happy just reading her positive attitude towards life. Do yourself a favor and head there now, but hopefully you have a few hours to spare because you’ll get sucked in realll quick 🙂

Sponsor Spotlight: The Gem State

I’m so excited to be doing my first Sponsor Spotlight on my blog! As new sponsors come along I’ll take some time to introduce you all to them. I’m always looking for new blogs to read – and I’m sure you are too – so I figured it’s best to share the love 🙂
First up we have Alison from The Gem State. I’m guessing if you read my blog, you enjoy pretty pictures (considering I take wayyyy too many pictures of everything and proceed to post them here!). Well, if that’s you, then you’ll fall in love with Alison’s blog. She’s a talented photographer just ramping up her new photography business and shares photos of everything from her life in Boise with her husbad to how she decorates (she has such a cute space) and her fun photography sessions. Pop on over to her blog and take a look – you won’t regret it!
