{Barcelona: Parc de la Ciutadella}

Back in April when my Mom was visiting us in Europe we spent a four-day weekend in Barcelona. Nicole was living there at the time and let us in on the secret that Parc de la Ciutadella is one of the most beautiful city parks in the world. We spent an hour or so wandering around, hardly scratching the surface of it’s 70 acres. There were tons of locals lounging around reading, listening to music, dancing and just enjoying a leisurely afternoon. It was truly beautiful and absolutely worth a visit if you find yourself in Barcelona.

  1. That park is stunning. I need to get myself to Spain one of these days. Also, can I ask where your black coat is from? I've been looking for a longer, not-too-puffy, insulated coat.

  2. Very cool! Beautiful pictures too!

  3. This looks like such a beautiful park! I was in Barcelona a few years ago and had no idea this place even existing. Stunning photos 🙂

  5. What beautiful photos!!!!!!!!!! I plan to propose to my girlfriend, Sammy, on May 1st at 8 pm in the same park! Where would you recommend I do it? I prefer an intimate spot (without a lot of people) that captures the spirit of Barcelona (not just another park in Chicago :)).

    I look forward to your response!
