{Positano: A Few Highlights}

A little highlight reel from our trip to the Amalfi Coast. I have sooo many photos and memories to share, along with some practical advice on traveling to Positano. But for now, I thought I’d start with a few of my favorite parts of our trip!

  1. wow your pictures are beautiful. you're an amazing photographer. i've always dreamed of going to the Amalfi coast. looks magical!

  2. Such beautiful photos! I can't wait to visit there next summer! With all the rain and chilliness of Germany, I know it will be much needed by then! Excited to see your future posts about Positano!

  3. Beautiful photos! I wish I was there!

    Did you ask people to take the pictures of you and cory? Like at breakfast, or in the picture of him picking you up? Brian and I hardly ever have pictures of both of us, unless we use the timer, and they don't turn out the best in that casee.

  4. These pictures are so amazing! Looks like you had a phenomenal time! Can't wait to hear your tips for traveling Positano. On my last trip to Italy we made it to Gargano but not Positano and it's definitely on my list of must-sees!!

  5. We are headed to Positano today and staying for four nights. Any last-minute advice or restaurant and activity suggestions?!

  6. Nicole – I don't see a way to contact you on your blog and your profile doesn't have your email address, so hopefully you see this comment…

    You have to eat at these restaurants. INCREDIBLE food!
    Il Ritrovo – best meal of my life. Seriously.

    La Tagliata – authentic italian experience – no menu, it's all family run, they just bring you out plates and plates and plates of food – so many courses, delicious house wine, amazing service 35EUR/person! – STEAL of a deal for what you get!!

    Make sure to eat lots of gelatto 🙂

    Do a day trip to Capri – seeing the Grottos was beautiful!

    I would skip Amalfi… we weren't super impressed. I would spend more time on the beach in Positano 🙂

    We did the Path of the Gods, started in Nocelle and hikes to Praiano. It was absolutely breathtaking. If hiking is your thing, I highly, highly recommend it. Once in Praiano we walked down to the Marina and had a long lunch at La Pirata – it was yummy and you couldn't beat the view!

    Have an amazing time!!

  7. gorgeous pics!! you just got me so excited we leave for our Italian honeymoon Sunday, we are spending a week in Positano! jotted down your above recommendations!! thank you!!

  8. We went to Capri while we were in Italy and went to the blue grotto as well. It wasn't exactly what I expected but still pretty cool.
