Here are some photos from our first day out and about in Argentina. We ate a swanky 3-course lunch and drank some white wine, then, slightly tipsy, we walked across the way to the Recoleta Cemetery. I wasn’t ready for how incredible, awe-inspiring and mysterious the Cemetery was. If you’re ever in Buenos Aires, don’t miss it.
Then we walked through the Recoleta Artisan’s Market. Vendors line the narrow sidewalks near the Cemetery and sell random knick-knacks like scarves, jewelry, art and lots more. We didn’t buy anything (holding out for the San Telmo Antiques Fair) but had fun looking! We took the last photo at the end of Avenida 9 de Julio, a street that spans an entire city block. It’s enormous!
